Know me a little more

I am a relatively fresh woman to this industry.

I have graduated from the Universidad Metropolitana de Monterrey (UMM) 4 years ago, but I’ve been in the professional field for almost three years as a concept artist and illustrator for a multiple books of fantasy, among them: Lacrimus Fábula, Baby New York, Esclavitud. Also, some couple of years ago, I worked as a conductor/illustrator in a web show called Metal Factory Metal Show, it helped me to know so many things, from how to speak in public to what was like to be in contact with the people you work with. But two of the most important of all the things that I learned were this:

First: Maintaining the highest quality of imagination and passion into the work.
Second: Always keep in mind that this is not only a job to get paid, is a lifestyle, a dream.

My career in the university was as a Graphic Designer, I enjoyed it a lot. In fact is usually my main method for finance my expenses in art supplies. My favorite area of work is the creation of pets for companies, creation of advertising posters, editorial design, also a little bit of animation and web design.

I see myself as a woman open to the changes, flexible and with a special desire to learn day by day new things and never stop improving my art style and works.

Actually, three years ago something magic was born, I've started a couple of projects with a partner, various graphic novels of our creation. We love the process of making plots, characters, backgrounds, personally I feel it as one of the things that I adore making. In the middle of all of this, a big idea began, making a method of literary creation in which the characters were all real, alive. This is maybe, the biggest thing in which I've worked and I hope one day when the theory is complete we can share it with the world. Here began my experience as a comic artist/writer, improve my skills for making storyboards, drawing, illustration... In resume, this dream helped me to grow, enlarge the vision of my own imagination and what high it can go.
